Imact Award finalist

SURF CITY, N.C. — Cathy Mails, owner of Sea Green Natural Cleaning, has earned international recognition as a finalist in the International Impact Book Award for her book, The Detox Dwelling, a practical guide to nontoxic cleaning and healthier living.

The International Impact Book Award is a global community dedicated to recognizing excellence in storytelling and elevating authors whose words create real impact.

“The International Impact Award is such an honor,” said Mails. “It’s an award where meaningful books are recognized, celebrated and positioned for the world to see.”

This achievement reinforces the value of the information Mails shares in The Detox Dwelling.

In an announcement, the International Impact Book Award stated that judges select 20 finalists from among thousands of submissions, making the recognition a significant achievement.

“This year’s submissions were nothing short of extraordinary,” the organization stated. “Through every page, we encountered stories filled with wisdom, hope, resilience, awareness, healing and inspiration. It was a powerful reminder that books are more than stories — they are opportunities to learn, grow, reflect and connect with one another.”

“It was my desire to make a healthy, environmental impact with The Detox Dwelling,” said Mails. “It’s a practical guide to nontoxic cleaning for healthier homes and greener living, and it resonates with readers.”

The Detox Dwelling is available on Amazon and at the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism office.
